ATHLETICS: The next step in Alistair Cragg's quest to return to true form will take place at tomorrow's Boston Indoor Games when he lines up against a world-class field in the men's two-mile race.

Last weekend Cragg ran a superb personal best of 3:55.04 indoors to win an invitational mile at his Arkansas base, comfortably the fastest indoor mile of 2006 (the next best being the 3:57.40 by Kenya's Richard Kiplagat).

It also jumped Cragg to number six on Irish all-time indoor mile list behind Eamonn Coghlan (3.49.78), Marcus O'Sullivan (3.50.94), Ray Flynn (3.51.20), Frank O'Mara (3.52.30) and Mark Carroll (3.54.98).

Tomorrow's field includes leading distance men such as Craig Mottram of Australia and top Ethiopians Markos Geneti and Gebre Gebremariam.
