NIGEL BENN yesterday ruled out any chance of a third fight against his great rival Chris Eubank.
It would obviously attract the kind of big money Eubank would demand if, as widely expected he makes a comeback.
There will be no warm up bouts for Benn following his WBC title loss to Sugar Boy Malinga in Newcastle earlier this month. He is being lined up to challenge Steve Collins for his WBO title in late June and promoter Frank Warren is pretty sure it will take place in England.
Benn said after one of boxing's briefest retirements. There's no grudge match between me and Eubank, it will never happen and you are hearing it from my mouth, there will never be another fight.
"I want to get off that. We've enjoyed what we have done, and I'm sure if he came into this room row. I'd probably shake his hand. I've grown up.
Benn added I can't demand the money I want now. I'm not champion at the moment but I would have demanded £2 million.
"I'm just happy to get the world title shot. I've been world champion for four years, I've invested my money wisely. I'm not here for the money, I just don't want to go out a loser, even if I have to fight till I'm 99.
