Lillian Behan and Suzanne O'Brien are in a 12-member LGU team for the annual match against their professional counterparts, at Carden Park GC on April 17th. It is a particularly strong amateur line-up which will be a pointer to selection on the Vagliano Trophy line-up for North Berwick in July.

Behan is the reigning Irish Close champion and O'Brien (nee Fanagan) captured the title at Enniscrone in 1997. As it happens, Behan is one of seven Curtis Cup representatives in the LGU team.
