DUBLIN's Keith Barr was one of four players sent off in a tempestuous first round Dublin Championship game between Erin's Isle and Lucan Sarsfields at Swords yesterday.
Lucan's Damian O'Brien, a intercounty colleague of Barr's, was the first to go, sent off for a second bookable offence in the 20th minute.
A second half fracas led to two sending offs. Punches were thrown by a number of players after a heavy challenge on Lucan's Kevin McLoughlin.
Barr was sent off after this incident. A second Erin's Isle player was also sent off, wing back Keith Murray, for his involvement in the same flare up. Lucan corner forward David Ryan was sent off a minute later as trouble broke out again.
Erin's Isle won the game by 2-8 to 0-10.
