A 22-year-old Nigerian Olympic athlete was killed in a traffic accident in Sydney, police said early today. Nigerian officials said the man killed was 400 metre runner Hyginus Anugoman. He died after being hit by a car near the Olympic precinct. Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games spokesman Milton Cockburn said the matter was now in the hands of the police.
