A display of running and skill which was awesome at times saw Ardara pull off the shock of the year when they overcame reigning champions, St Eunan's at MacCumhaill Park, Ballybofey, yesterday.

Tied at 0-4 each at half-time, Ardara really took the game to St Eunan's in the second-half and after 43 minutes they got the score which put them on their way.

It was fitting that both Damien Diver and Michael Doherty had an input, putting Don Earley through. His effort was blocked by Tony Blake but Jonathan Boyle followed up to fire to the net.
