A repeat of last year’s All-Ireland senior hurling final will see Clare and Cork throw the sliotar in for the start the 2025 Munster SHC.
Munster GAA have confirmed the dates, times and venues for their 2025 senior provincial hurling and football championships, with both beginning in April.
The two openers in the hurling championship will see Clare host Cork at Cusack Park in Ennis on Sunday, April 20th at 2pm, while later that same afternoon Tipperary will be at home to a Limerick side chasing an unprecedented seventh consecutive Munster SHC title.
The two Saturday games in this year’s Munster championship will see Waterford host Limerick in Walsh Park on May 3rd while Clare will be at home to Tipperary on May 10th.

The Munster senior hurling final will take place on Saturday, June 7th with a 6pm throw-in time.
The provincial senior football championship in Munster begins with two quarter-finals on Saturday, April 5th – Tipp at home to Waterford in Thurles and Limerick hosting Cork at the Gaelic Grounds.
