Madam, - The Phoenix Park is one of the true gems of Dublin. What a shame that virtually no provision has been made for pedestrians to safely cross its busy through road. What is most baffling is that opposite the main entrance to Dublin Zoo, where thousands of visitors - many of whom are children - make their way on foot every day, there is simply no safe way to cross the road.
Dare I suggest that what's needed at the Zoo is a zebra crossing? - Yours, etc,
