Sir, – Cardinal Dolan’s report on the Irish College in Rome said “The college suffers from the reputation of being ‘gay friendly’, however unjust such a reputation might be” (Front page Home News, June 15th,). A more positive, and non anti-gay, view might be that the college benefits from the reputation of being gay friendly, however exaggerated such a reputation might be. – Yours, etc,
