Sir, – In defending the introduction of Covid certificates, Taoiseach Micheál Martin said it was unfortunate that the word "discrimination" was being used in relation to proposed legislation to confer rights on some citizens and deny them to others ("Martin: 'Delta variant rips through an unvaccinated population'", News, July 9th).
