He constantly seems to have the need to pat himself on the back and tell the world how great a guy he is. His latest incredible claim is that he really believes that he would have entered the Florida school and tackled the gunman, even if he didn’t have a weapon. This is rich as it comes from the most famous draft dodger in history. – Yours, etc,

Sir, – It was laughable to hear Donald Trump proclaim that he would have run into the Douglas High School in Florida to confront the gunman who killed 17 people. Apparently he would have done so unarmed! I wonder would the “bone spurs in his heels” not have stopped him running? After all these were the reason he was excused the draft for the Vietnam War.
One can just about tolerate the guff that he spews on a daily basis, but when he picks on the unfortunate policeman who for whatever reason didn’t go into the school, he has reached a new low. This could destroy this man’s life and it has already ended his police career. Mr Trump is simply the worst of his kind, a “politician” who will do and say anything to get his way. The worst problem of all is that he may yet win a second term in office. May God bless America! – Yours, etc,
