Madam, - Colm Walsh (February 24th) rather misses the point when he suggests that Travellers should be engaged in a PR campaign instead of quite correctly standing up for their right to equality under the law.
I am also unsure why it is in some way acceptable for vintners to collude with customers not wanting to drink with travellers, but it would be outrageous if customers put pressure on a publican not to serve black people. Are there different grades of racism? - Yours, etc.
