Tourism and pilgrim paths

A chara, – I agree with John G O'Dwyer (Opinion & Analysis, April 6th) that it is time to unlock the tourism potential of our pilgrim paths. The great success of the Camino de Santiago in Spain proves what can be achieved. While some progress has been made here, much more remains to be done to reopen the many unknown and disuse pilgrim paths. I hope that parish and tourism groups take up this worthwhile challenge and ensure success. – Is mise,
