Madam, - I agree with the sentiments expressed in your Editorial of January 5th. In addition to representing Dublin Central constituents well, Tony Gregory gave them the option to choose a candidate with a strongly socialist perspective. TDs with this outlook are in short supply.
The loss of Tony Gregory means Dáil Éireann is now less likely to come up with fair solutions to the current financial crisis. - Yours, etc,
