Madam, - Are we witnessing the demise of the wrist-watch? Has this once cherished chronometer become an anachronism?
Up to quite recently it was almost de rigueur to wear a wrist-watch. These days hardly anyone under the age of 30 wears one. They much prefer to use the digital clock on their mobile phones.
I suppose it can only be a matter of, er, time before the wrist-watch is consigned to a timepiece museum. - Yours, etc,
