Madam, - I have the solution to the "British Isles" dilemma. In the spirit of the Good Friday Agreement the description could change on an annual basis. The isles would become "The Irish Isles" for a year, then "The English Isles", then "The Scottish Isles"and then "The Welsh Isles". This harmonious arrangement would ensure that each geographical component would get a "look in" every four years and all sensitivities would be catered for. - Yours, etc,
