Sir, – Mnangagwa’s government has gone beyond the pale again.
Instead of protecting every victim affected by the devastating disaster caused by cyclone Ida, ZANU PF is punishing victims who are perceived and considered not supporters of the government. This is not a first, it has been happening for years if not decades.
Last year, top ZANU PF officials were caught in a scandal of politicising food aid and embezzlement of aid funds. It is reproachable that the government entrusted with caring for the livelihood and survival of its people does not care.
This is not fair to the victims.
