Sir, - As regards the RTE coverage of the solstice at Newgrange, a group of baboons could have done a better job of presenting it. At least a baboon would have been awed by the rising sun and stopped chattering.
What worries one is that this went round the world. People viewing it may well have concluded that the race that built the passage graves have been exterminated, possibly by the ancestors of the chattering classes they saw on television on December 21st. - Yours, etc.
