Sir, – One of the photographs accompanying your story of the building of two villas in Spain shows the developer lounging on a staircase, fully dressed albeit without any shoes and socks ("Building the dream villa in Spain", Homes & Property, December 1st).
Is this an unfortunate sartorial miscalculation or should I too throw away my shoes and socks in anticipation of being “on trend” over the Christmas holidays? – Yours, etc,
