Sir, – The headline "New poll puts Sinn Féin 15 points ahead of Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael" (December 10th) could just as tellingly have read "New poll puts Fianna Fail/Fine Gael five points ahead of Sinn Féin". Throw in the Greens and the gap extends to an impressive 10 points. Perception is everything! – Yours, etc,
