Sir, - Betsy Nagle (May 17th) is certainly a good Samaritan. However, I notice she refrained from giving us a reason why the man she helped was lying by the side of the road. Her belief that wealth has destroyed our morality would be valid only if the man in question was not lying there as a result of drink or drugs. If he was, then I would submit that the side of the road was the correct place for him. - Yours, etc.,
