Sir, – The Irish Government has accepted the invitation from the leaders of the four main Christian churches to attend next month’s service in Armagh.
I, for one, am glad that it made that decision.
This service will recognise all the hard work done over so many years by so many to try to heal divisions on this island; work done by churches, community leaders, voluntary groups, reconciliation bodies, schools, ordinary people and (some) politicians.
It is important that we bear witness to that light. – Yours, etc,
