Sir, – In computing the "hefty mark-up" of a bacon-and-egg sandwich bought in a cafe (Pricewatch, April 13th), Conor Pope obviously thinks that the said sandwich makes and serves itself in a rent-free, self-cleaning space, with free gas and electricity! Cloud-cuckoo-land? – Yours, etc,
