Madam, - My husband, our two children and I were scheduled to travel on a Ryanair flight from Berlin to Dublin last Monday, October 16th at 9.25am. Due to a technical problem, the plane could not take off and we were left waiting for what turned out to be eight hours in Berlin airport.
During this time, we did not see or hear from any Ryanair representative, and were left completely uninformed until 5pm when we were told the plane was ready for boarding.
On eventually boarding the aircraft, I called a stewardess over and complained about the lack of communication from Ryanair for the whole time we were waiting at the airport. She told me that if I didn't like the situation I could "disembark the aircraft right now". I guess this was customer service, Ryanair style.
I did get the stewardess's name and will be making a complaint - though she did say herself that complaining makes no difference at all with Ryanair. - Yours, etc,
