They must be delighted at the prospect of either unemployment or commuting to their minimum-wage jobs in the capital .
What then, of those refugees in direct provision or the 500 Syrians earmarked for a life in modern Ireland?
Bunk beds on the Skelligs, water meters outside the beehive huts? Even unto our own, our generosity knows no bounds – until asked.
