Sir, - There is one point which is not, I think, explicitly dealtwith in the Belfast Agreement, but which is perhaps of sufficientimportance to make an amendment desirable. It is this.
Suppose that the people of Northern Ireland vote to become part ofan Irish state, and that after a period of trial they find themselvesdissatisfied. Can they then, by a further referendum, choose either tostand alone or to re-unite with Britain? - Yours, etc.,
