Madam, - I am disappointed that the article in your edition of May 2nd advising readers to "de-clutter their homes" was not linked to advice on recycling unwanted items.
Surely it is not sustainable to "put them into a box, date it six months on" and, if unused in this period, "just bin the box without looking inside". Nearly all unwanted clutter in homes - be it old appliances, old clothes or gadgets - can be useful to someone else or recycled. - Yours, etc,
