Sir, – I still remember my childhood when Christmas cards poured through the letterbox. It was all part of the build-up to Christmas Day.
Handwritten letters are rarely received nowadays, so how lovely is it to receive a cheery card at this time of year.
It only takes a moment to write, there are many to choose from, some help various charities, and even though you have to pay postage, it is only once a year.
I really do not want to receive any electronic cards.
