Sir, - I know it's yesterday's news, but I'm still confused. Could somebody, anybody, give me an answer to the following:
If Hugh O'Flaherty was innocent of wrongdoing, why did the Government pressure an innocent man into resigning from the bench?
If he was guilty of wrongdoing, why is the Government rewarding him with a £140,000 a year job at the EIB? - Yours, etc.,
M. Murphy, Holmpatrick, Skerries, Co Dublin.
