Nowhere to play

Sir, – Ian O'Riordan's analysis "Nowhere to play and the price that comes with it" (Sports, March 31st) was the best sports article I have read in a long time. Recreation facilities for young people in their own area are so essential and keep youngsters from having too much time to hang around and get into antisocial behaviour. Sport is education, and something urgently needs to be done to keep green areas available for all sport. – Yours, etc,
