Sir, – While David McWilliams (News Review, November 6th) rightly praises Norway for its laudable green energy initiatives, it shouldn't be forgotten that Norway exports almost all the oil and gas it produces.
So, somewhat paradoxically, without the massive revenues it continues to earn from such exports, it’s doubtful if the country would have had the funds to invest so heavily in its remarkably successful renewable energy infrastructure.
