Sir, – I wish to express my disgust at the xenophobic behaviour of the Dublin NIMBY brigade and their political and media cheerleaders.
There is no depth to which they will not sink in order to keep their own property prices on the rise. They constantly cite their fear of “transient” people as a reason to object to apartments being built in their so-called communities.
Using this term “transient” to describe foreign workers, single people, childless couples and students, etc is blatant discrimination and should have no place in a modern, inclusive Ireland.
