Sir, – Patrick Hederman is not a “Dominican”, as stated by Diarmuid Ferriter in “Be wary of seeking truths through historical soaps” (Opinion & Analysis, December 4th), but a Benedictine monk of Glenstal Abbey.
If he were a Dominican, he would be a “friar” and not a “monk”. – Yours, etc,
