Madam, - I note from your edition of September 20th that the Tánaiste, Ms Harney, has castigated the Luas project as "a dreadful indictment of our processes" and has described as "incredible" the idea of running the line across the Red Cow roundabout.
I find it even more incredible that a member of the Cabinet, which must bear ultimate responsibility for this débâcle, should have the nerve to act as if she had been in Opposition for the past six years instead of in Government.
Whatever happened to collective Cabinet responsibility? Perhaps it applies only when there is something to crow about. - Yours, etc.,
M.D. KENNEDY, Silchester Park, Glenageary, Co Dublin.
