Sir, - It costs the taxpayer £700 a week to keep a prisoner in Mountjoy. Mr Lawlor, in the course of the Flood Tribunal, has insisted repeatedly his earnest wish to co-operate fully with it.
He now has an excellent opportunity to prove his bona fides by picking up the tab for the £700 for his week's sojourn in the 'Joy. He could add a 10 per cent booking fee for being allowed the privilege of reserving a specific time to suit his personal requirements. - Yours, etc.,
