Sir, – Just one question for Michael Healy Rae, theTD who asks all those questions in the Dáil ("Application for liquor licence in tent behind pub heard at hastily arranged court sitting",August 1st).
Why could the show in Killorgan not go ahead without him dragging a judge to a special court sitting to grant a drinks licence for the show. Surely it’s an event for jam makers, bakers and dog fanciers, and not the only watering hole in the whole of Kerry open on a Sunday?
Yours, etc,
– JOHN ROGERS
