Madam, - I note that one State agency, namely the Health and Safety Authority, now wishes to classify company cars as "workplaces" (The Irish Times, March 17th).
The irony of this will not be lost on those who have been forced to accept from another State agency, namely the Revenue Commissioners, that travel to and from work in a company car is classified as private mileage, and therefore may not be taken into account for relief from benefit-in-kind. - Yours, etc.,
