Sir, – At the risk of being labelled a member of "Pedanthouse", may I gently point out to Frank McNally (An Irishman's Diary, July 30th) that Peterhouse, my Cambridge college, is in fact referred to only as "Peterhouse". The "College'" bit is redundant. – Yours, etc,
