Sir, – I’m a little perturbed by the over-familiar use of the word “Hi” in emails. I’m happy enough for my friends and family to use “Hi” in emails, but I find it totally inappropriate when it comes from organisations. How would you feel, Sir, if you were addressed as “Hi Sir”? – Yours, etc,
