Sir, - While in Dublin for the Emmet family reunion, I was struck by the exceptional quality and range of your architecture - not just the tour-bus monuments, but the run-of-the-mill structures. But Dublin has no architectural guidebooks to all eras and areas of the city.
If a traveller - or even a native - wants to know the date, architect and patron for the covered market, the art nouveau Burton's store, your contemporary buildings, or even the hated power company block on Fitzwilliam Street, there is no recourse.
