Sir, – I fully support Harry Crosbie's brilliant suggestion to make the Great South Wall safe for walkers in this its 300th year (May 5th). I dread to think of what it would cost to restore the entire granite surface so I join him in appealing to one of our new high-tech neighbours at Dublin Docks to sponsor his suggested birthday present so that thousands of walkers can once again enjoy the wonderful views while walking, instead of having to have eyes glued to the uneven granite slabs in case of a fall. – Yours, etc,
URSULA
HOUGH-GORMLEY,
