Sir, – Pope Benedict in his resignation address said that at times he felt like Peter in the boat and wondered if the Lord was asleep. I know that feeling, as better solutions to the financial crisis are available. However, God can only help us through nature and the natural world, and people are part of nature.
As our modern economy only exists through the circulation of money, can we ask people who have money in offshore accounts and “deep pools” to, please, please, “give up your auld sins” and allow God to help us through you.– Yours, etc,
