Sir, – Our young family watched The Polar Express film on Saturday evening last on RTÉ 1, and while thoroughly enjoying it, it was interrupted by the National Lottery draw.
Why does RTÉ feel the need to broadcast a gambling show during a children’s movie, which itself, I may add, was sponsored by McDonalds.
Gambling and fast food – exactly what my young children need to see during a family movie! Ludicrous. – Yours, etc,
