Encouraging vaccination

Sir, – I would hold the opposite view to that of Dr Mary Jennings (Letters, October 27th) to offer a payment of €300 to unvaccinated people who now complete a second vaccination.

Instead, I would suggest that all adults who remain unvaccinated past a certain and well-publicised date, be charged for the privilege of being vaccinated.

This would also enable them to avail of indoor hospitality as well as saving the taxpayer a bundle of money. – Yours, etc,
