Madam, - Last week's general election in India, the world's largest democracy, was carried out via an electronic voting system. The surprise result appears to have been accepted without question.
The reaction here to this aspect of the Indian poll, especially from those who were so adamantly opposed to the proposed introduction of electronic voting next month, has been total silence on the air-waves and in the press. Where have all the erstwhile analysts and experts gone? - Yours, etc.,
LOUIS POWER, Killiney, Co Dublin.
