Sir, - I write to express my dismay and anger at the way the victims of the Dublin and Monaghan bombings are being treated. Many of us remember the horrific events of 1974. This was the biggest mass murder case in the history of the State. Yet nobody knows what happened.
The families are demanding justice and the truth. Let them have their public enquiry. It's a small gesture towards their suffering and pain. Failure to do this undermines the Victims' Commission Report. I now call on all public representatives to support the families in their call for a public enquiry. - Yours, etc., Cllr Finian McGrath,
Griffith Avenue, Dublin 9.
