Sir, – Today I brought my two boys (aged 11 and 5 years) for a PCR test as their Dad is a confirmed case of Covid-19.
Thank you to the staff that took those extra minutes to reassure my boys, thank you too for listening to our eldest son as he explained he had autism and “needs people to be patient” and thanks to all for the courtesy and good humour.

Sir, – The vaccination centre at Croke Park was a fiasco yesterday. Two hours 40 minutes from start to finish. Queuing in the bitter cold outside over two hours. No toilet facilities, five registration desks, only four open. Huge delay was caused by allowing walk-ins in the midst of people with appointments. This site is not fit for purpose.
