Sir, –With the introduction of rounding from Wednesday we are all supposed to accept our change being rounded up or down to the nearest five cent.
Wouldn’t it be easier just to get rid of “99 cent” prices? If shops go to the trouble of trying to hoodwink me into thinking something isn’t really €6 with a €5.99 price tag, then I’ll always insist on demanding my cent change. – Yours, etc,
