Madam, - With regard to the latest fracas aboard a transatlantic flight involving alcohol abuse, surely, in the interests of everyone's safety, it is time for airlines to stop serving alcohol on aeroplanes and to take more active measures to prevent inebriated people from boarding flights.
Having had the uncomfortable and frightening experience of a drunken, and very agitated, passenger at my side on a recent transatlantic flight, I would certainly welcome action. - Yours etc,
