Madam, - I refer to Sheila Sullivan's beautiful piece on the death of Rosemary Breslin, beloved daughter of Jimmy (Rite and Reason, July 19th). Ms Sullivan's message on death, the Breslins and the Church had only one imperfection. She wrote of meeting my son at the funeral - "Daily News columnist Michael Daly, whose father is buried in Cork".
It is an ambition of mine to be buried in Cork, but not just yet.
If Ms Sullivan's travels bring her to West Cork during August, I hope she will join Michael and me at a preliminary wake. - Yours, etc.,
CHARLES U. DALY, Boulteenagh, Bantry, Co Cork.
